Hi everyone!  One of my online friends informed me that I've been published.  She spied my cards in two magazines this month and I've been searching in vain to find the magazines.  I finally found one today and well it turns out I forgot my bank card and couldn't buy it. Willow's stocking

Well today I'm off to go Christmas shopping.  To be honest I love doing this.  I love the crowds and running into people I haven't seen in forever.  However I don't like the angry people who waited till the last minute to something and get angry at the poor store employees for not having what they want.  Trust me I have been on the other of that counter and it's hard to be happy when people yell at you all day.
Add to that a husband who hates crowds and shopping and well you can probably guess how my day will go.  The good news is that I'll be spending his money!! hehehhe and he is not allowed to complain.  (it's actually our money I just like to pretend it's his, it makes shopping more fun).

So here's a little card I made using  a stamp from Whiff of Joy's winter collection.  Have a wonderful day.

Explore, Dream and Discover

Do you know what my second most favorite crafty thing is??  Snowflakes are my most favorite and then there are sentiments, especially if they are inspiration or uplifting.   And the funny thing is I really don't have much as far as sentiments go.  But that may be changing.  Today's cards feature a beautiful sentiment from Paper MakeupStamps.

I didn't have a boat stamp so I just made one of paper!

Naughty or Nice challenge

Well Bombshell's at it again and they are having a christmas card challenge.  Make a card using any Bombshell stamp that shows what side of Santa's naughty or nice list you are on.  There's even a prize for this challenge!
Here's my card...cause I've been a good girl this year!

I punched the snowflake from Kraft cardstock and sponged the edges with Vintage Photo distressing ink.  Some diamond glaze and chunky glitter finished the vintage look of the snowflake.

My new Copic Storage Unit

So some of you already know that I have jumped on the Copic band wagon!! So the next step is to get storage for my new most favorite thing in the world. I hate to have to spend major dollars for my already too expensive habit so I was looking for a cheap solution. And between my husband and I we came up with something pretty cool. (atleast I think it's cool).

So we bought some plastic pipe at the hardware store, I decided how long I wanted the pieces and hubby cut. We sanded the rough edges, crazy glued the whole thing together and here is the result....

It holds 12 Ciao or 10 Sketch Copics per tube.  There are 12 tubes so it will hold 120 Sketch or 144 Ciao markers.  And it only cost $10.00!!  The best part is that I can add more tubes as my collection grows.
I love my hubby, he's the best!!

3 colour Black hair tutorial using Copics

Well now that I've been playing with Copics I think I'm ready to share what I've learned.  I don't know about you but I would love to have every colour Copic has but can not afford it so I have to make due with what I have.  So I'm going to put together a couple tutorials on how to colour using as less Copics as possiable.
Soooo my first tutorial in on how to create a Black hair colour with hightlights, midtones and low lights.
Just click and save the image, then either open it or print it to follow.

This is Christmas Party Tilda from the Stamp Shoppe.  And the sentiment is also a Magnolia stamp from the Stamp Shoppe called "Vintage Merry Postcard".
