Get Well on the Farm

Hello everyone!
We have another fun preview over at The Greeting Farm's Blog for you today using the new "Get Well" set designed by Marina Neira.
Even more heart warming, we are calling all of YOU to action by heading up a Charity Card Drive for sick children and their families this week. Tommorrow you will hear more about that from Jessica and be given instructions on how you can enter this card drive and put a smile on the faces of not only a sick child, but hopefully their parents, siblings, and all who are affected by all of the heartbreaking illnesses out there. We have been wanting to do this for some time and I'm really happy about it; can't wait to see how many cards we can collect for this wonderful cause!

We are also really excited about release day tommorrow and the announcement of this contest. Because it will be the focus of the TGF release this month, sans Blog Hops , etc....we have put together a HUGE prize for this contest, so stay tuned!

In addition, there will be prizes given away tommorrow on our Release Day so be sure to stop by the TGF blog for the Official Contest rules but also a comment contest tommorrow...who DOESN'T like a little immediate gratification ;)

The Design Team-Farmers and Critter Crew alike has some SUPER cute samples today on the TGF blog and our own personal blogs too!

Thanks for stopping by!

In fact, ONE LUCKY WINNER will be chosen today from ONE of our blogs to WiN this "Get Well" set by Marina! WE don't even know who's hiding it.....so be sure to make your rounds (hehehehehe, just like a doctor would to "Get Well!") if you have the time and GOOD LUCK to all!

Have a great day and see you back at the FARM tommorrow!

Sun inspired Makeup for the Weekend

Eeeek I'm so excited it's the last day of the week!!!  Are you up for a challenge?  Today's Makeup for the weekend from Paper Makeup stamps is "Sun Inspired".  When I think sun I think of a warm sun, flowers and butterflies.  So today's card, errr notebook  features PMS stamp set Buggy Sayings.  There's a butterfly in the set that has a wide open wing design that is perfect for customizing.   So I have the butterfly now all I need are the flowers.  Since the challenge is SUN inspired I thought why not sunflowers??
So if you want to play along please add the tag M4TW21.

The sunflowers were made using the iTop brad punches.

Makeup for the weekend

It's Friday and it's time for some challenges. This week's challenge is from Paper Makeup Stmaps.  It's my turn to challenge you, so here's my Makeup for the weekend....
Create a card without using paper layers.
You can use any embellishments you like.
You can even use a window.
I was so excited about this challenge that I made two cards.  I hope they inspire you.

My first card uses random stamping, ribbon, buttons and stitiching.
I used Buggy Sayings to make this image.
This card using a window to create dimension.  Lightly draw a circle then stamp the stars.  Cut out around the stars and what's left of the circle.
I used the Starstruck stamp set to make this card.
Wanna play along?  Tag your cards with the keyword M4TW20.

Paper Makeup is having a sale!!  Stamps, Spellbinders and Shimmerz  are on sale.

It's Farm Fresh Friday!  Don't you just love challenges??  This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.  Hop on over to the farm and check out the sketch and see what the rest of the fabulous farmers made.

Good hair day!

What a lovely Monday it is.  And what a day it will be.  I'm surprised I slept at all last night knowing the my Cricut Expression should be here today.  Eeeeek I'm so excited!!!   I've been dying to make new cuttting files but wanted to test them for myself (quality control).  But now that I will be joining the ranks of Cricut owners I can test all day if I want!  Hummm I think I'm gonna need more cardstock.
Today's card features the uber cute Ebony from the Greeting Farm.  I love everything about her, especially her skull shirt and hair.  I'd love to have her hair!!
You might see her again be I am working on a video tutorial on how to colour her hair!  I'll let you know when it will be posted.

a SUPER Happy Birthday

Well it's time again for another installment of Farm Fresh Friday!  Today's challenge was to create a birthday card.  I decided to try and tackle a boy birthday card.  My choice in stamps is the Amazing Duo.  These little super hero's are so adorable!  I thought it would be fun to make a birthday card with one.  I masked off a word in the sentiment and stamped in "Super" from the Amazing Duo.
Visit the Greeting Farm blog to see more birthday creations.  They are Super cute!!

Caliope

I liked the Caliope monster image so much that when I finished one card I just had to make another.  Caliope was released this Sunday at Paper Makeup Stamps.  I think she's just adorable and is really enjoying her flower.  I think it's always fun to make a bunch of cards with 1 image just to get a good idea of how well it works in different colours.  Everytime I see this image I hear the song "tip toe through the tulips".  well I can't really say the "song" as that is the only line I know. ha!

Ok so about there not being an actual card!!  I tried to load it last night and blogger just wouln't allow it.  So I thought I'd catch it in the morning and try loading.....well I forgot.  Sorry about that.
Yeah it worked!!

It's Farm Fresh Friday at the Greeting Farm and we are going "down the rabbit hole".  The dt have created "Alice inspired" cards for today challenge.  Check them all out, you'll love what you find.
My card was inspired by the white rabbit, and since Anya already has rabbit ears I thought it would be fun to make her late...for a birthday that is!!  And to give her a little tiny twist I gave here fish net stockings.  hehe
And I want to take a moment to welcome the new Critter Crew....

Whimsie Doodles Sneak Peek

Eeeek it's sneak peek time for Whimsie Doodles!!  Oh the cards the DT have to show are sooo cute!!
Ok now that I've teased you I thought I show you a little project I just finished.  But first I have to explain.  You see my husband using ENO for a belly ache and I had to go out and pick up a few things and ENO was on my list.  There were a couple of size choices but one in particular came in a odd shaped bottle.  Sooo you can guess which I picked up, ha!  The Whimise Group at PCP are giving away an Easter Freebie to all it's members.  The freebie is 4 egg shaped stamps and this candy jar uses one of the images.

New Releases at Whimie Doodles tommorrow.  If you leave a comment for there under the new release post you have a chance to win free images!!

Paper Makeup

Good morning.
Today is the day for Paper Makeup's Sneak Peak.  It's all about word art for PMS today.  I thought it would be hard to make a card with a focus only on word art.  I was wrong, If I treat the word art as a picture it's pretty simple from there.

Dont forget that our release party is march 7th at 8pm CST in the PMS forum!
We will be partying, playing games, giving out prizes. It's so much fun!
