New Baby

While is was browsing Michael's I came across little kraft favor boxes that were so cheap I couldn't resist getting them. Of course they sat on my shelf for a couple of months until I finally had an idea. The images from the Baby Joy set from Whimsie Doodles will fit perfect in the little squares so I set off to make a baby boy gift box.
The "life saver" was made by punching out the small circle first then slipping the paper back into a larger circle.  It's easy to center if the little circle is punched first.

How to colour Short Blond Hair with Copics

I've gotten a lot of requests about how I coloured something so I decided I'm going to video tape as I colour and share the videos.  So for Whimsie Doodles I did a series of hair and technique videos and will be sharing them every Tuesday for the next two or so months.  Here is my first video on how to colour short Blond hair using Copic Markers.

TSG day 3-Fall is right on time

Today's sneak peek features a set of adorable little girls designed by Torico. I couldn't wait to colour them, then I decided I just had to do something with the cute little squirrels and I'm glad I did.

Pumpkins On The Vine is a 4x6 set that includes a total of 15 stamps and will sell for $15.
I thought it would look cute if I stacked the squirrels.  They stack pretty good!!

Thank you

Day 2 of the There She Goes blog hop and I made a background with one of the border stamps.

Fabulous is a 4x6 set that includes a total of
13 stamps and will sell for $15.
You know it's funny that I like black and white pattern papers but never actually created one so I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried it.  I kept it simple with only 3 colours and I'm really pleased with the results.  Hope you like it too!

Ahoy

I knew when I purchased my Cricut Expression that I probably wouldn't use it much.  Although I sore to my husband that I'd have all kinds of uses for it.  I do, I just don't act on many!  But what I didn't anticipate is how much I'd love using it.  When I wipe the dust of and fire it up I can't stop myself, I usually run out of time.  So I put all my cuts in baggies and when I'm inspired I break open a few and start assembling.  Here is one of my favorite cards using the Create a Critter cartridge.

Matching Socks

Hi all, today I just had to try the Unity sketch challenge.  As you might already know I'm not that great at sketch challenges but this one just said "cloths line" to me.  Not sure why but I went for it.  So here's a card using my most favorite of all Unity stamps called Matching Socks.
Here's the sketch...can you see the drooping cloth's line???

Ok now for my card, you'll see why I like the socks.  I LOVE using bright colours on them!!
And what's a great line of socks without the bright blue sky to dry'em.
The sky stamp is from Hero Arts called Clouds
and the ink is Broken China from Ranger (distress ink).
