This is the card I used up my scraps on.
How I did it
1. Take strips of scraps and glue them together.
2. Did cut the butterfly out of the card.
3. Stamp sentiment
4. Dry emboss background
*this must be done after stamping or the stamped image won't be even.
5. Glue strips onto the back (inside of card) of the die cut butterfly.
6. Machine stitch
They're delicious!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great cardmaking session - that is a great die! And, each of these cards is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteWowzers! Are these Ever Beautiful! 8-)

These are fantastic!!! I love the colors/papers you used! These butterflies are gorgeous! Great stuff!(like always!) ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous! I can see why you were inspired.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteI have the same dies. Love your cards. One question...the body of the butterfly is attached to the wings. Did you cut yours off to get just the butterfly cutout with the one done with scrap strips? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteYes I did separate the body from the wings Connie. I figured I didn't always want the body and didn't want all these "spare" bodies around.
