Forest of cards

Well I got to play with my new stamps today. So this is my first "official" post as a DT member for The Greeting Farm. I'm starting with the stamp set "Forest Friends" and I think they are the cutest woodland creatures I ever saw!! I couldn't wait to get these stamps and make some cards.

I didn't have any background type stamps so I resorted to making one up! So I drew the trees coloured them with markers and chalked in a sky.

For the chipmucks I thought it would be funny to put a giant acorn behind them. So I got out my pencil and made myself an acorn big enough to fit a card!

I love your Bambi and sweet chipmunk friends!! The coloring is awesome, and I love that you drew in your own elements. True talent, and done so well!!! Your stitching is always so perfect, never overdone or overpowering on a card. Forest Friends must be thrilled to be in their new home. :D
