Bee Mine

This year I decided I was going to make little Valentine gift bags for whoever I meet on Valentine's day and that I better make a bunch.  Making a lot of one thing is not really something I'm good at so I knew that had to be quick and easy.  So I created some cutting files and set my Cricut to work.  While it was busy cutting I started cutting up some scraps and start gluing them to some little glassine bags.  Now I just had to fill them with goodies.

You can get the cutting files I used to make these bags by visiting here and downloading them.

Lollipop Treat Covers

I just love 3D stuff, especially if it's paper pieced.  I love paper piecings, packages and presents! Did I tell you I've been playing with some new SVG's (and JPEG's) and absolutely love putting them together.  They're like cute little puzzles that you can decide the colours for.  Here is what I put together using the newly added Lollipop Treat Covers from Whimsie Doodles.

Here are some Valentine Treats for school aged children....

Don't forget your furry friends, or friends with fur babies!!
I made these for my Vet and her staff

Hint: If you don't have the right colour card stock just cut everything out in white and colour the individual pieces.  I did this for the glue bottles, pencil and baby bottle images with my Copic markers.

Love you

I made this for my hubby. This is us, we still holding hands in public and I love him very much. :) When I'm colouring couples I have a hard time deciding what colours to make the hair.  I always seem to use contrasting colours, like a dark next to light.  I never seem to colour say brown and brown.  Also I would of liked to make the boys shirt plaid but I'm just not brave enough to try it yet so the best I can do is add white polka dots to the girls dress with a gel pen. LOL

Bee Mine and stuff

Today I'm showing some cards I made using "Love Stuff" SVG files from Whimise Doodles.  I love cutting files, I love my cutting machine and I especially love FREEBIES!! Snag " Love Stuff" for free here.  I used these cutting files to make my cards today and don't worry if you don't have a cutting machine cause they also provided jpegs so you can print and cut them yourself. :)

Big Hugs

So I was finally able to sit down yesterday and colour :)  Boy yesterday was a great day!! LOL
I was on the hunt for Valentine paper, a 6x6 paper pad to be precise and I wanted it immediately so I stopped by my LSS and snagged the new Be. Loved. paper from Fancy Pants.  For some reason I was interested in the typical red, white and black Valentine stuff so the pretty pastels of pink, blue, moss green and even gray caught my eye.  Then I brought my new goodies home and started playing with some new SVG cuts and digi stamps from Whimsie Doodles.

Creepy Couple

I love halloween!  My husband and I love to dress up and go out with our son to while he Trick or Treat's.  Hubby wanted to be a Zombie and I a wicked witch.  Like the makeup?  I did it all myself!  It was so fun.
To make the spider you will need
the iTop brad punch
a small circle punch (white of eyes)
tiny buttons (eye colour)
Black cardstock (spider body)
White cardstock (spider eyes and mat)

How to make the spider
1. punch the body from black cardstock.
2. clip four "legs" 2 from the top and 2 from the bottom
3. Glue to white cardstock and cut around the body leaving a little space.
4. Punch the eyes, add buttons and adhere to spider body.

Eeeek spiders!!

I am sooooo afraid of spiders!!! That's why I go for the cute images. The spider in this digi stamp comes with his own web and sentiment. I made these cards using the same paper (reversed) and the same card size.

I used Stickles on the web and here's a close up. It looks like I flocked it!! LOL

Teapot Cutting File

OK so I couldn't wait to show you this card!! I really wanted to make it look vingtage. The Teapot is a new cutting file from Whimsie Doodles. It comes as an SVG and JPEG file. I had to hand cut it cause I don't have a fancy Cricut DS to cut it out with! LOL. Hubby mentioned something about it might be a good investment!! Wooo hoooo I'm keeping my fingers crossed just incase.
