You know what I love about being on The Twinery Design Team? It's having to work with the gorgeous colours and being able to just play. My assignment? Anything but a card. Since Christmas is getting sooo close I thought it would be fun to make some ornaments. The great thing is the Twine can be used as an accent and function.
It's day 4 of new release and I thought it might be fun to make fridge magnets out of the little images from 12 days of Christmas. They are super easy to make and really cute when done.
Step 1: Stamp and colour image
Step 2: Cover image with Diamond Glaze or Mod Podge and cover with clear glass dome.
The glaze will leak out the sides. That's ok. Just let it dry throughly.
Step 3: Use the glass dome as the guide and cut around the image. Keep the scissors close to the dome to get a clean perfect cut.
Step 4: Glue on a small magnet and let dry. That's it!!

Hi ya'll welcome to The Twinery Blog hop. Today I thought I try something fun (I know I'm out of season but it's never to late for a snowman) . I braided the solid Caribbean twinefrom The Twinery into a long rope then cut it in 3 sections and braided them again. I painted a face on a large white cloths pin and glued star buttons.
After making a crazy about of dog ties and scarfs I found some really cute pillows on Pinterest and knew I just had to make my own. I bought some fusible webbing, fabric, lace and buttons and off I went.
Can you tell I just love yo-yo's??
The fusible webbing made it possible for me to draw an owl pattern and "glue" him onto the fabric. I then hand stitched around the body and branch to make it look more homemade.
I free handed the shape for the strawberry and next time I'm actually gonna make a pattern that I can reuse.
I haven't sewn a thing in probably a year, I love to sew and missed it a lot. The only thing stopping be was that I couldn't find the cord to my machine. My hubby put my sewing machine in my craft room and from there the cord got lost. I've tried various times to find it and even thought I ought to clean my craft room and I'd find it. Nah!!! Anyway I started a full time job sewing underwear for a factory and got so excited about it I'd come home and start looking for the stupid cord. No luck. So I started to pout. Hubby then looked for the cord, I told him he's wasting his time as he couldn't find his shoes even if he were wearing them. But he looked despite me. (I just didn't want him to be snooping in my craft room) and wouldn't you know he FOUND it!! Oh my goodness the sewing madness kicked into high gear and for the last two weeks I've been sewing (in addition to sewing for 8 hours a day at work)
Here's what I made...Dog Hanker-chiefs and neck ties that loop right on a collar. Aren't they just Posh??
Eeek! I'm so thrilled to be part of the Twinery and CardMaker blog hop today!! I was hoping to make something really special for the hop and was racking my brain trying to figure out what to do. So I thought why not decorate a Mason Jar and use it as a gift jar.
