After I designed this chic/rooster guy to sell as a digi stamp I was really wishing he was a clear stamp. I think he'd make a great mini stamp set. So I enlarged the original image "Egg-scape" and removed all the background stuff and used him as the main focus of the card.
These little goody bags were fun to make. I usually hate making the same card twice but when it comes to production type work I actually enjoy the challenge. I made 25 of these little bag of goodies for my co-workers. I bought the brown candy bags at a local supply store. Now I have 985 reasons to find something else to do with them :)

Fall Apart
You know whats awesome about digi stamps?? You can re-size, flip and even delete bits. No masks, no fuss no problem. I wanted a pair of bears so I used the digi stamp Healing bear then flipped him so that now it looks like they are leaning on each other. One supporting the other no matter how ragged they feel. They look like they could use a vacation. :)

To Cute to Spook
I have a card to share today that using one of my favorite digi images. This is Little Witch from Whimsie Doodles and I think she's just adorable with her wind blown hair and gypsy like dress.
I really wanted to keep this card as simple as I can, so I printed, coloured and cropped around image slightly smaller than the card face to give it a framed looked.
Then I added a simple shadow to ground the image (so she didn't look like she was floating) and stamped a sentiment.

Elves are Watching
I keep seeing photos of those creepy little elves everywhere! The photos are funny but the elf is just creepy. But this little Elf is adorable and I was able to put a card together pretty quickly using Winter Wonderland paper from Echo Park and the free digi from Whimsie Doodles.

Gobble til you Wobble
Well it's another new release day for Whimsie Doodles and boy it's a turkey of a release!! Lot's of Thanksgiving ideas and digi's for a fun time. My card today is called a "never ending card" because you can flip through it and never get to the end of it. It was really fun to make and I"m sure it's going to be even better as a "party favor" on the dinning room table for Thanksgiving.

Best Foot Forward
Hi all! I have two Halloween cards to share with you using the same digi Lizzie Flying Witch and paper Haunted Hallows by Teresa Collins, the same dies Clouds by Memory Box and Moons from circle punches.
The first card I used a 3" punch with yellow cardstock and punched a half 2" circle out of it to make the moon.
To give it some dept I tucked a cloud behind the moon and one in front.
For this card I used smaller circle punches. I also used Reverse Wonky Dies from Spellbinders for the background. Then I added a few drops of Copic Grey W5,W3,W1 onto Q-Tips to make a cloudy dark sky.Saturday, September 15, 2012

Outside the Box
Me and my best friend don't always see eye to eye. Sometimes we are complete opposites :) That's why this image "outside the box" digi was just perfect for her. Pencils and crayons aren't the same but work perfect together.

You did it!
Well it's the first day of school here and my son is off to Grade 11. It's hard to believe time went by that fast. I can't believe how fast summer has come and gone. I found myself wondering what happened to all the garden centers then I remembered summer was over and fall is just around the corner. So for all those kids out there going to school here's a little card to celebrate how brave you were to go back to school! Or maybe it's for all the mom's out there who had their brave face on while sending their little ones off for the first time :)

Mermaid card
I've got another Mermaid floating around my a new card today. I coloured her tail in Copic blue greens and after wards thought she needed green so I coloured over her entire tail with YG01. It turned out better than I expected. Although if I deliberately set out to do this it wouldn't of worked!! So this to paraphrase Bob Ross...my "happy little accident"

Great to SEA you
I just released some new Mermaid digi's and couldn't wait to colour them. Then I had to figure out how to match the card to the Mermaid!! The easiest way was to keep it simple and thankfully I had cardstock to match. Then I threw some coloured thread in my sewing machine and it just "fell" together for me :)
here are the colours I used for the Mermaids.

Hope to SEA you again :)

Here's another beach day themed card using the Sketch for You to try June challenge. I tried to make my own accents by using a star die as star fish and the iTop brad punch as a sun.

Whimsie Doodles digi freebie
Whimsie Doodles released a new digi freebie to cheer up a dreary day! Here are two cards I made using the new freebie with inspiring messages! Now all I have to do is find a friend who's feeling stressed so I can give them a card! LOL Sorry for the odd way of looking at things :)
So my first card is keeping it simple with of course some stitching! The sentiment is from a stamp set also from Whimsie Doodles called Jungle out there.

for my second card I flipped the image and cut it out with a Sizzix circle die.

Catching up
I just realized I've been hoarding all my Whimsie Doodles cards! Eeeek how could I forget to share them??? Not sure why but I'm going to try and catch up. Come January I'll have some big announcements to make so I better get my Whimsie cards in now or I'll never catch up!
Have a wonderful day! I'm off to (hopefully) do some christmas shopping.

Halloween Cards
I hate to see paper go to waste. Especially DP! So when I have a sheet or two that I really like I try to make the best of it and use it in as many cards as I can. Today I want to show you what you can do with 2 sheets of DP and cardstock. I used the new halloween digi stamps from Whimsie Doodles to make these samples.

Sweet Boy digital Page
I love scrapbooking digi style! I picked up this fabulous kit Strawberry Cafe from Sugarplum Paperie to make a layout. The cupcake is from the new digi stamp Yummy Doodles from Whimsie Doodles. I used the cupcake as my template to "cut out" the DP from the digi kit. Flattend the image and put a white stroke around the cupcake to make it look like a sticker.
