Good Dog digital freebie

A few weeks ago I made some goody bags for dogs and I just wasn't happy with the results so they sat in a little box till I could figure out what to do with them.  Then last night I had an idea.  It involved a lot of searching around my house to find a printer I "stored" away.  Then I had to find the ink!!  Finally I had everything I needed to print these "Good Dog Holiday Treats" free digi from Whimsie Doodles.  There's no a lot of embellishments (just some ribbon and twine) but I'm really happy with the results.

5 quick and easy Christmas cards

Well I'm really excited about today's post because I have again tackled the challenge of making simple cards and I'm pretty sure I've got this one down pat.  That is if a piece of ribbon, Spellbinders and a stamp can be considered a quick card.  This time it's for the There She Goes challenge to create 5 Quick and Easy Christmas cards.
Torico's "No Peeking" stamp set is perfect for making quick multiples of cards. I love all 25 images in this set.  The hardest part was picking only 5.

Paper Crafts 365 Cards

That's the name of the new Paper Crafts 365 Cards issue.  It's one of my favorite issues because they show all sorts of holidays/occasions/celebrations.  I especially love the non traditional ones!!

The really exciting part is that I have 6 cards in this issue!!  It's my biggest number of cards for one issue in Paper Crafts.  I can't believe it myself.  I had to count them 3 times before I believed it! LOL
This first card is my favorite.  The card shape is from Whimsie Doodles, the stamps from PSA Essentials (super star).

Sweet Holiday

Yesterday we kicked off another Whimsie Doodles Challenge (details here) and I promised to show you the cards I made for it.  So here they are, I used 1 design, 1 mini deck and 1 set of digi's ('Tis the Season).
I sprayed colourless blender on a face cloth to give the Gingerbread a "cookie" look
rub some chalk on the cheeks to give them a soft blush look.
I had to cut some length off the bottom of the bon bon to make it fit the card.

No Peeking bottle cap magnets

Happy Tuesday :) Today I have a really fun project to share with you.  As you might know I going to be attending my local Holiday Craft Fair and so I've been busy making little stocking stuffers.  So when I recieved the No Peeking stamp set (illustrated by Torico) from There She Goes I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them, that is make fridge magnets.  The images are the perfect size to fit inside a standard bottle cap.  (you can get these cheap where you buy beer making supplies).
You can even make them without the bottle caps.

For a tutorial on how I made these just skip on by the There She Goes blog

Nice Person

Happy Sunday all! I hope you enjoyed your extra hour today.  I was really excited to sleep in today.  That was before I realized the time had changed.  You know your getting old when you look forward to sleeping in!  LOL
Today's card is one of my favorites, I'm really pleased with how my colouring turned out.  The image was so easy and cute to colour that I wanted to try and keep it simple so the little Elf would pop off the card.
