trick or treat :)

A few months ago there was a design team call that I just knew I had to be on,  The only snag was that you had to use their products  when submitting and the only supplies I could find was a scrapbook kit.  Personally I find the patterns on scrapbook paper to large for cardmaking but I wanted to make this team so I purchased a kit and gave it my shot.  I have to admit it was my first ever kit and I LOVED using it.  It seemed I could find a place for everything. I honestly couldn't stop till I ran out of supplies (stickers) or ones I wanted to use anyway :)
here are the card samples I submitted for the DT application.  BTW I didn't make the team :(  BUT that's OK I know something else will come along.

Sweets Jar

I needed a candy jar for the craft fair so I picked up glass jar and decorated it.  I used my new favorite stamps Holiday Labels 14 from Waltzing Mouse and Labels 14, snowflakes and scallop circles from Spellbinders.  This jar is just perfect for Waltzing Mouse's Daily Dare 11th Day of Christmas.
All you have to do is create something using a snowflake.  Easy peasy!

Well I decided to try the iCopic colour challenge.  The colours are so beautiful and since I don't remember ever making a card with two shades of the same colour I thought it would be fun. Wanna play along?  Stop by the iCopic blog and upload your card, there's a prize of Ciao Copics to one lucky winner.
Here's the challenge

For the first time ever I'm going to sell my cards a a Christmas Craft fair.  I'm really nervous about going.  So for the last week I've been trying to make multiples of cards.  I'm trying to create some simple cards and this is one of my attempts.
