Bridal Week at PSA Essentials
I've just stopped by PSA Essentials and they are posting a week of Bridal ideas. There are some gorgeous invites, and sweet gift ideas. If you know someone who is getting married direct them here for some really great ides. PSA Essentials make custom stamps for any occasion. I have one with my name and blog address so I can stamp the back of my cards.
I tried to make an invite using my friends actual wedding invitation. I used PSA Essentials Cupcake Peel and Stick stamp set to make this invite.
I used clear cardstock from ShortCuts to make the double door card.

Happy Birthday Koale!
Hi everyone!
Today is my son's 15th birthday and he wanted a birthday cake that looks like Saturn. Not a flat cake but a sphere with rings! I've never made a speciality cake before let alone a ball but I watch Cake Boss and decided I would give it a try.
It turned out pretty cool I think, especially since I'm not a cake decorator or "Cake Boss" and this being my first try at making a cake that wasn't just a flat bottom square cake. At first I wanted to wrap the globe in fondant, so I bought the mystery stuff and some food dye and marble the fondant. And tried to wrap it around the cake. NOT!!! It didn't work. Since I've never used Fondant before I didn't know what to expect but I did learn from it. Anyway I just used plain white icing and a little food dye to create a swirling gas planet.
I used the ROBOTZ Cricut Cartrige to decorate the bottom. I love the little 3D robots.
Here it is in all it's 3 layered chocolaty goodness. The bottom half is rice crispies.

Have Cake
Well I'm back! I had a bit of a blog va-ca over the holidays but now it's time to start sharing again. I have a bunch of cards to show you. I've been playing with my Cricut and made some cards that I can't wait to share. I can't show you now because I submitted them to the new Cricut Magazine for consideration in their June/July issue. Sooo if they don't get accepted I'll show them right away. But for now I have a birthday card to show you that I made using Whimsie Doodles newest rubber stamp set "Have Cake".
I have to say it's a fun set of stamps to play with, I have made a bunch of cards with it so far and will be sharing them all week.
So here's the first card in a series
