A perfect pair can be pink...right??

Well I picked up a new punch and couldn't wait to play!  Since I haven't made a card with all 8 of the Mini Valentine's from Whimsie Doodles (I've only used 5 so far) I thought I try and use the other images.  Only I picked the one's I've already used! LOL.  So here are the pairs in pink!

This next card is a gift card holder from ShortCuts.  These little folders are so fun to decorate,  with it's little compartment.  And check it out...I've used a flower. Ha!

Mojo 123 + Inktegrity

When I saw the Mojo Monday's sketch this week I knew I just HAD to try the circle sketch.  I don't think I ever made a circle card before.  Well maybe one other but I can't remember!! LOL
I picked up this really cute DP the other day with little clouds on it and was dying to use it.  Then when I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I could do.  I just had to use Joni's plane set High There (from Inktegrity) for the card.  It's just to cute not to use, especially with the little coulds.

Mojo Monday's Sketch 123 this week has two versions, one a circle and the other a rectangle.  Check it out!

Hello readers!!!  It's friday! Woot woot!! Oh I'm so glad the week is over.  Not that I have any plans or a "life" hahahaha but it means my family will be home all weekend and that's always fun.  It also means it's Farm Fresh Friday at the Greeting Farm.  And debut day for new Critter rubber stamps.  This set is called Sweet Tooth and it's is sooooooo sweeeeet!  Your gonna love it!  I swear! hehehe

Pottery Barn Challenge for Paper Makeup

Today's Paper Makeup challenge was inspired by the Pottery Barn.  It's a colour challenge and I think it's the very first one I've ever attempted!   Here's the challenge

And here's my card using my favorite PMS stamp Cookie Man!

I don't know if I over did it with the colour scheme.  The cookie jar is what concerns me, I wanted to leave it white but it looked to blah!  And I don't know how to shadow white other then using a light blue (for snow) but since a cookie jar is cold wet snow I didn't know what a good colour would suit.  So by colouring it in dark greys it make the word COOKIE hard to see so I just traced over the word with a white gel pen.

Ok so I made a last minute card here.  I just love the colours for this challenge!!

Farm Digi sneak

Today is the day that the Greeting Farm is showing sneak peeks of their new digi's.  Your gonna love the variey and total cuteness of the new images.  My card features the new line of Chibi's illustrated by the talented Jessica Hymas. I only made one card for my sneak.  As soon as I saw it I thought belated birthday so that is what I made a card for. 

The Greeting Farm blog have a line up of samples with more of the new Chibi's.  And there are also some new digi critters!

Well it's Whimsie Wednesday over at Paper Craft Planet.   And the challenge is to make any card except a square card.  So I made a mini key chain for my hubby.  Now whenever he drives he'll have a little green reminder of me!  The frog from Whimsie Doodle's Mini Valentines fit perfectly into a Nestabillity Label 8.

Paper Makeup Melody's Birthday wish

So yesterday I told you how I made a birthday card instead of a summer card. When I realized I made the wrong type of card I thought I must have mixed up the challenges and it's  Paper Makeup that had the birthday card challenge.  Now I don't have a birthday stamp from PMS so I had to improvise.  I took a short piece of ribbon, twisted it onto itself and made a party hat.

Guess what?  I was wrong again, Paper Makeup's challenge was a sketch not a birthday card!!  So this weeks goal is to get it straight!   I'm crossing my fingers hoping I get the challenges right.

January Stamp Shoppe Blog Challenge

Heidi from over at the Stamp Shoppe is hosting a challenge AND she has a prize.  It's pretty easy really.  All you have to do is create a card and share it, that all!!
The prize is a Magnolia Stamp,  I made a card for the challenge using the image up for grabs.  I've even managed to put some flowers on my card.  I know that flowers aren't part of the challenge but one of my goals this month is to use flowers.  I'm not doing so well with my personal challenge but atleast I managed to it with today's card.  Hahaha!

Oppps I forgot the FFF challenge

So Friday was Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm.  Not only did I forget to post my card but I made the wrong kind of card!!  I made a birthday card, not a summer card which is what the challenge was.
The colours are so bright and summery that they showed it anyway.  And well I forgot to show it on my blog!   So here is my "summer" birthday card!

No your eyes aren't going fuzzy,  Flutter Anya has be covered in glitter.   I thought it might make her look a little magical being all glittery but I just couldn't seem to "capture" the effect.  Here's a close up.
