HAPPY RELEASE DAY, everyone!
It's been a WHIRLWIND week on the Farm and here we are, October 1st-the day is TODAY! ALL OCTOBER RELEASES are available in the TGF Store for purchase, and don't forget to join us at 7pm CST on our PCP page for chit chat, prizes, some laughs I'm sure, and a SPEED CHALLENGE to be revealed this evening!

For now, it's Farm Fresh Friday and we have TWO challenges for you to begin our "FALL FESTIVAL of Challenges!" The first one is a COLOR CHALLENGE: (graphic coming, but it's basically Close to Cocoa/Dark Chocolate, Vanilla or Fine Linen (pti), and Old Olive)

The 2nd Challenge is a "HALLOWEEN THEMED" Challenge-create a card or project ALTERING a TGF Stamp and make it Halloween Themed!
I did the halloween theme as I love halloween!!  I took Ian's pumpkin costume and put it on Anya from the Spotlight collection.

In order to really PARTY it up for this release, there will be TWO PRIZES at stake this week-one in EACH category! Oh, and did we mention the prize is HUGE???

That's right! ONE lucky winner in EACH category will receive a new 4x6 set of their choice, PLUS the FIVE HALLOWEEN DIGIS! WOO HOO!!!! Can you say FABULOUS???

Halloween Joke book

So if your wondering what to give out for halloween instead of treats why not give the little goblins a laugh!  I made a little book of halloween jokes using the Halloween Tags digi set from Whimsie Doodles.  Everything is pretty much done for you.  So you can make a whole book like I did or attach a joke tag to a treat.

The little bats are actually the punchies from a border punch.  The headstone is a Spellbinders Labels 4.

Creepy Couple

I love halloween!  My husband and I love to dress up and go out with our son to while he Trick or Treat's.  Hubby wanted to be a Zombie and I a wicked witch.  Like the makeup?  I did it all myself!  It was so fun. 

To make the spider you will need

the iTop brad punch

a small circle punch (white of eyes)

tiny buttons (eye colour)

Black cardstock (spider body)

White cardstock (spider eyes and mat)

How to make the spider

1. punch the body from black cardstock.

2. clip four "legs" 2 from the top and 2 from the bottom

3. Glue to white cardstock and cut around the body leaving a little space.

4. Punch the eyes, add buttons and adhere to spider body.

This week's Whimsie Wednesday challenge was to use a banner.  This morning I sat down and make a medallion for a halloween page and thought it might be interesing to make a banner from the medallion.  It turned out to be a pretty cool thing.  I'm glad I tried the challenge this week or I never would have thought of making a banner this way.  Hope you like it too!

Ian Halloween

Just when you thought Ian couldn't get any cuter The Greeting Farm come out with another one!  This time Ian is trying out different Halloween costumes.  Here he is as an adorable little pumpkin.

The Good Green Witch

The Greeting Farm just released some seriously cute Halloween images.  They include a skull boy, pumpkin Ian, she Devil , Frankenstine's Bride and a Witch.    I knew I wanted to make a flying scene using the witch and a moon.   I just had to make a green witch but without the flying monkeys.

Today I blew the dust off some stamp sets I haven't touched in months.  It's sad to see stamps sitting around and not have the time to use them.  So with all my DT duties caught up for the month I had a little spare time to play with some Lizzie Anne Designs stamps.

Best Witches

Whimsie Doodles have a new set of circle sentiment Halloween Images and I used one to make this card.  I cut out the centre (potion and books) coloured and re-attached it to an oval.  I then used the left over sentiment to wrap around the top.

This week the Farmers were challenged to make a card using an older TGF stamp set.  So we are kicking it OLD SCHOOL. The hard part was picking just one of my old favorites!  I choose the owl from Forrest Friends.  He's just so cute!  I wanted to show him in a moon so I got out my most favorite tool ever....the fiskars circle cutter.  Stop by the TGF blog for all the deets to particapate in this challenge. Creeper loves to spin

Hi all!  Today's Farm Fresh Friday challenge will move you!  Yep TGF challenges you to create a card with a moving piece of anything.  So tuck in a tag, shake things up with a shaker box or whatever else you can think of that will move.  Today's card features my newest favorite stamps from The Greeting Farm called Sweet and Toxic.
Sweet little creeper girl is holding a pin wheel.  I made the lilttle pin wheel and added 2 pennies and foam squares so the wheel will move.

Oliver is just so adorable I couldn't resist making a second birthday boy card.  You can never have enough birthday cards atleast in my family with over 90 first cousins. Oliver and his friend Amelia are in a set called Happy Day from The Greeting Farm.  Little Miss Amelia is just as adorable in her pig tails.

Too cute Ghostie

This little ghost is just is too cute to spook.  I love his little hands perched on his hips!  This image is one of eight images in a digi set called Halloween Mini's from Whimsie Doodles.

Here are a few instructions on how I made the little paper bow tie
1. cut a small rectangle piece of designer paper
2. fold paper in half
3. cut a triangle shape starting at the fold cut on a diagnal to the corner end
**make sure you leave a little of the fold.

TGF Birthday Boy

Little Oliver is the perfect little boy and he's the best for little boy cards!  I made this card for a boy turning 5, I think he'll love Olivers dino's!  Oliver comes in a set with a little girl Amelia.  They are the beautiful creations of The Greeting Farm.

3's a card!

This week's challenge on the farm is the rule of 3's.  Use 3 differnt embellishments, not 3 of one item but 3 different items.  So it should be a slam dunk for me as I love using buttons, ribbon and some kind of punched item.  I tried to make this challenge more difficult for myself by not using my old stand by's.  Well I'm weak what can I say, I couldn't go without the ribbon.  I did use chipboard and brads though.  That's a start!
So here's my rule of 3's card using the uber cute Sweet and Toxic set.

I finally dug set  ROLL CALL  from The Greeting Farm and found this fabulous Anya.  Have you seen this set yet???  It's full of gorgeous boy and girl images (10 all together) PLUS sentiments.  This is Jade isn't she just adorable??  I love her striped shirt, skirt and most of all her high boots and braids.
