True Loves Kiss

What better image to have on your Z Becky Brown purse for Valentine's Day  then the iconic Snow White?? I gave her a little twist with blue eyes instead of her original brown and put her hair in a side pony tail.  I drew the image on X Press It cardstock and coloured it with Copic markers and multiliners.  Then attached the it to the Z Becky Brown Ziva paper.

Knock my socks off

I've been bit by the painting bug. I love painting my little characters on canvas :)  I have so many ideas and so little canvas left! LOL Looks like I'm in need of another trip to the city for supplies.  For now I'm just so thrilled at how my Sock Monkey turned out, I wasn't sure if the black outlines would ruin or help the look of it.

Canvas size 16x20

I printed the sentiment and cut it up.  The I painted some paper orange and matted the sentiments and glued them with Mod Podge.  Outlines made using Gelatos from The Scrapbooking Cafe Online.

Homemade light fixture

I saw these really cute light covers that were made out of antique tea cup and saucers and thought I love to have one but just couldn't bring myself to drill a hole in an antique so I thought I'd just stop by the Clay Cafe in Truro and see if I could make own.  When I told my husband what I wanted to do he gave that that look that said "it sounds crazy" but good luck.  So when I got the the Cafe I thought the ladies there would think I was loosing my mind when I asked them to drill a hole in the the tea cup and saucer.  Instead they were actually excited to see how it would turn out.  So here it is and hubby loves it!  And it's a good thing because I needed him to do the wiring :)
