Thanks gift cards

The minute my mine bag die arrived I thought to myself "what else" can I make with it.  So I turned it into a flower pot.  Then while I was trying to figure out a sentiment for it I saw the Wonderful Words Challenge from Moxie Fab World and thought I had the perfect fit, the word die "Thanks" from Serendipity stamps.

I couldn't stop with a flower pot so I went a little farther and made a watering can.  I cut a circle die and then a smaller one out to make the handle.

It's a daisy kind of day

I made some what I thought would be simple cards.  I die cut a bunch of white daisies then strips of green cardstock to make a bouquet of flowers.  I used purple buttons for the flower centers and Lilac twine that matched perfectly.

I folded the daisies in half and then die cut a green daisy to use the flower petals as leaves.  And of course I found The Twinery twine Marigold that matched the daisy center perfectly.
I guess you've noticed the "sentiment" bits.  Well I didn't have the right sentiment for the cards so I Photoshopped the word in until I find the perfect fit.

Entwined with Daisies

A while ago I purchased Yo Yo's from Etsy.  I know they are fairly simple to make but I figured by the time I buy a bunch of bits of material then cut out the circles (I would of die cut them) then fold under the edges and stitch and pull them together it would be much easier to just click "buy now" and wait. :)  Then poof they appear in my mailbox. Meanwhile I also purchased this adorable daisy die and cut some felt flowers.  A little hot glue, some twine bows through the buttons and ta da....yo yo daisy's.
No just hot glue them to hair cllips...

That Bites

It's begging to look like Spring around here and to be honest I'm not looking forward to see these guys anytime soon.  LOL I random stamped the background then stamped the image and coloured it.
Definitely my kind of camping :)
Of course I can't make a card without my Twine, I love the Cappuccino twine it's a perfect match to kraft cardstock and doesn't over do it.

Let's go Parking

Another Monday, well at least it's a new month! A new month means new digi's from Whimsie Doodles and a new set of stamps for A Jillian Vance Design.  Today's cards feature an activity I have only tried once.  Once was all I needed to verify what I suspected, I'm not an outdoorsy kind of girl. :)  But I'm ok with that. Now we take our tent out every summer to "air it out" then think about going camping answer with a "Naaaaah" then pack it up and store it away till next summer.  Now I've created some cards feeling all experienced in the camping genre.
