Well I picked up a new punch and couldn't wait to play! Since I haven't made a card with all 8 of the Mini Valentine's from Whimsie Doodles (I've only used 5 so far) I thought I try and use the other images. Only I picked the one's I've already used! LOL. So here are the pairs in pink!
This next card is a gift card holder from ShortCuts. These little folders are so fun to decorate, with it's little compartment. And check it out...I've used a flower. Ha!
When I saw the Mojo Monday's sketch this week I knew I just HAD to try the circle sketch. I don't think I ever made a circle card before. Well maybe one other but I can't remember!! LOL
I picked up this really cute DP the other day with little clouds on it and was dying to use it. Then when I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I could do. I just had to use Joni's plane set High There (from Inktegrity) for the card. It's just to cute not to use, especially with the little coulds.
Mojo Monday's Sketch 123 this week has two versions, one a circle and the other a rectangle. Check it out!
Hello readers!!! It's friday! Woot woot!! Oh I'm so glad the week is over. Not that I have any plans or a "life" hahahaha but it means my family will be home all weekend and that's always fun. It also means it's Farm Fresh Friday at the Greeting Farm. And debut day for new Critter rubber stamps. This set is called Sweet Tooth and it's is sooooooo sweeeeet! Your gonna love it! I swear! hehehe
So what do you think? Aren't these little monkey just the cutest ever??? Hop on over to The Greeting Farm Blog to see what the DT have created using these cuties!
I don't know if I over did it with the colour scheme. The cookie jar is what concerns me, I wanted to leave it white but it looked to blah! And I don't know how to shadow white other then using a light blue (for snow) but since a cookie jar is cold wet snow I didn't know what a good colour would suit. So by colouring it in dark greys it make the word COOKIE hard to see so I just traced over the word with a white gel pen.
Ok so I made a last minute card here. I just love the colours for this challenge!!
Today is the day that the Greeting Farm is showing sneak peeks of their new digi's. Your gonna love the variey and total cuteness of the new images. My card features the new line of Chibi's illustrated by the talented Jessica Hymas. I only made one card for my sneak. As soon as I saw it I thought belated birthday so that is what I made a card for.
The Greeting Farm blog have a line up of samples with more of the new Chibi's. And there are also some new digi critters!
Well it's Whimsie Wednesday over at Paper Craft Planet. And the challenge is to make any card except a square card. So I made a mini key chain for my hubby. Now whenever he drives he'll have a little green reminder of me! The frog from Whimsie Doodle's Mini Valentines fit perfectly into a Nestabillity Label 8.
So yesterday I told you how I made a birthday card instead of a summer card. When I realized I made the wrong type of card I thought I must have mixed up the challenges and it's Paper Makeup that had the birthday card challenge. Now I don't have a birthday stamp from PMS so I had to improvise. I took a short piece of ribbon, twisted it onto itself and made a party hat.
Guess what? I was wrong again, Paper Makeup's challenge was a sketch not a birthday card!! So this weeks goal is to get it straight! I'm crossing my fingers hoping I get the challenges right.
Heidi from over at the Stamp Shoppe is hosting a challenge AND she has a prize. It's pretty easy really. All you have to do is create a card and share it, that all!!
The prize is a Magnolia Stamp, I made a card for the challenge using the image up for grabs. I've even managed to put some flowers on my card. I know that flowers aren't part of the challenge but one of my goals this month is to use flowers. I'm not doing so well with my personal challenge but atleast I managed to it with today's card. Hahaha!
Isn't Tilda in the tub CUUUUUUTE?? Click here to learn how to win this very Magnolia stamp.
So Friday was Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm. Not only did I forget to post my card but I made the wrong kind of card!! I made a birthday card, not a summer card which is what the challenge was.
The colours are so bright and summery that they showed it anyway. And well I forgot to show it on my blog! So here is my "summer" birthday card!
No your eyes aren't going fuzzy, Flutter Anya has be covered in glitter. I thought it might make her look a little magical being all glittery but I just couldn't seem to "capture" the effect. Here's a close up.
Happy day to you! Today's card were made using Magnolia's new stamp set called Raising the Ceiling from the Stamp Shoppe. The first card has little Tilda in her party dress and high heels.
The next card has Tilda in pigtails. Isn't she adorable?? I think she needed a little more colour on her dress! It looks like I started from the bottom and forgot the middle and finished with her hair. I love coloring Tilda's hair.
I picked up a Valentine paper pack from Martha Stewart and made a bunch of cards. I sponged the edges using Ranger Ink Antique Linen. I think it's a really colour on white cardstock. It really makes it look vintage doesn't it?? Whimsie Doodles just released 4 more Valentine images.
This first card was made using the new Sock It Monkey digi stamp.
This next card was created the using the same paper/colours and monkey digi. I cut out a heart, inked the edges added string and sentiment and now I have a birthday card for my friend who loves monkeys! I hope she likes it!!
This card was created using Spellbinders Labels 4 and the new rubber stamp set L'il Cupid from Whimsie Doodles.
It's been a pretty full week with new releases from Paper Makeup, the digi for Baylee, blog hop and lots of cards. Today's cards are all about the sentiments from PMS's "Dream Big" sentiment set. I don't know what it is but I always want to include stars with these sentiments. I think it's because they refer to dreams and it makes me think of starry nights. Or maybe it's because I lie awake dreaming up plans instead of sleeping.
The background for this card was created using the same set "Dream Big" the scrolls and stars are included with the sentiments. Aren't the scrolls pretty!!
As soon as I saw the preview for this image I just HAD TO HAVE it! I think it's because of the look on the little frog's face! hehehhe. So again this is my attempt at keeping things simple. I think I'm almost there! Ha! So this little princess is so easy and fun to colour. The hard part is deciding what colours to make her dress. This dilema of mine aslways leaves me with multiple images all coloured with no card. Like the pharse "all dressed up with no place to go". Yep that would be me with my many coloured princesses. I guess it's a good thing. I mean if I ever had to make an emergency princess card I would have an advantage of having all the hard work done.
There are so many ways to provide an act of charity to help someone. Often
times, financial assistance can help someone get thru a hard time because it's
one part they wont need to worry about as much.
This is where Paper Makeup Stamps has often stepped in doing charity stamps.
When you purchase a charity stamp or image, all proceeds from the sale all go
directly to the designated charity.
Recently, Paper Makeup Stamps was contacted by 2 friends (Carole Chesser and
Ashley Newell) about a sweet girl named Baylee Tadlock. At the age of 9 months,
Baylee was diagnosed with Leigh's Syndrome. Leigh's Syndromeis a
metabolic-mitochondrial disease. The family was told to expect Baylee's life to
be only of about 2 years. That she would never walk, talk, sit up or even
crawl. But Baylee was a fighter and a lover of life! She loved to ride horses!
She loved disney and princess Ariel. Baylee recently went to be with our Lord
on January 9th at the age of 13. You can read all about Baylee, her too short
life, and her family's amazing faith at http://www.adreamforbaylee.com/
One of our illustrators, Diem Pascarella drew this wonderful image. All
proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Tadlock family. They have set up
a scholarship fund in baylee's name with http://projectride.org. Project Ride
is a program giving therapeutic recreational horseback riding instruction to
children and adults with special needs. PMS is designating the funds for the
tadlock to use as they need.
We thank you for your support in helping us to help remember sweet Baylee
Please go to the PMS blog to see other creations using this image.
I probably asked this question before but have you ever put a card combo together and couldn't stop making cards with it? I do this all the time. It's like I find something I really like together and I make as many cards as I can until all the paper is gone. Then I have to go back and figure out how to fit an image on the card! LOL yep I make a lot of cards this way!
Another mania of mine is finding a stamp or set of stamps that I really like and going crazy with stamping and colouring a bunch of images. Then I have to try and find a home for them! I used one stamp set to make all these cards it's called "L'il Cupid" from Whimsie Doodles. It's their first ever rubber stamps! Check them out here.

Wooo hooo I can't believe it's Friday already! I know some days seem to fly by but I really feel left behind in this week. Like it should only be Wednesday! Oh well it just means the weekend is closer than I thought and well who doesn't love the weekends??
Anyway, is there a stamp out there that you love the "concept" of but not the actual image? For instance I love the idea of a house image but I haven't come across an actual image I like enough to buy. It's either too small, to plain, or just not pretty (to me anyway). That was until The Greeting Farm come out with a new set called "My House". I loved the details, the choices and the sentiments in this set. Plus the houses aren't these tiny little stamps they are actually a good size (the one in the sample is about 2.5"x3"). Which means they are easy to colour. Ok I'll stop babbling now. I should also tell you that this is my very first house warming card.

It's Magnolia day! I couldn't wait to get my markers on these beautiful Magnolias from the Stamp Shoppe! It's look's like I'm going through a black, white and red phase. I actually have a bunch of cards using this combo. Do you find yourself doing that, discovering a colour combo and then go crazy making cards with it. hahhaha I do all the time. This Tilda is from the Love Collection.
This little cutie is from the new "Raising the Ceiling" new year collection from Magnolia.

Well what a fabulous day it's going to be today! Firstly it's my son's 14th birthday today!!! Wow where did THAT time go??? So if you need me I'll be in the kitchen (the one stuffing her face with cake).
Today is also Sneak Peek day for Paper Makeup!!! The new batch of stamps is going to knock your cookie lid off! hahahahaha. The minute I saw this first image I fell in love! I think it's the cutest little monster stamp ever!! And perfect for my son's birthday card! Here's Cookie Man!!
Cute or what?? This is sooooo my son! The sentiment is also a new set from PMS called Birthday Cheer.
I LOOOOOOVE sentiments!
The next card was created using a new PMS fairy called Isabella. She is just so darling and I couldn't wait to make a card with her. I really tried to keep it simple with this card so I could show off how pretty Isabella is.
I know I managed to anything but keep it simple! My bad!!
Good monday morning to you! I hope your weekend was wonderful! Today's card is for the Whimsie Wednesday challenge at PCP called "keeping it real". Basically replace something on the card with something "real" on the card. It could be anything from a branch to string. If the image has a button then replace it with a real button. That kind of thing. So here's my card on a ShortCuts clear card. I've added string to the XOX stamp from the new RUBBER STAMP set "L'il Cupid" to make them look like they are suspended in air. I also used Cloud 9 Cupid digi stamp and he's only $3.
It's Farm Fresh Friday ove at the Greeting Farm! This week's challenge is glitter and glue! To find out all the details visit the Farm blog. My card for this challenge uses bling! When I saw the challenge for glitter I thought of all things sparkly so I grabbed my dollar store find of gems and made a card. I know it's not glitter, but it sparkles like glitter! So here's my bling card.
I used Princess Ava from The Greeting Farm
The sentiment is from Pup Star also from The Greeting Farm
