ROCKIN' REBEL RELEASE DAY

That's right.  It's new release day over at the Greeting Farm and it's their second edition of Rockin' Rebel!!
Club Anya and Friends are hosting the Rockin' Rebell challenge.
Last year I played along and had a blast seeing all the Anya and Ina "altered" egos!!  I can't wait to see what cards will be made this time around.

My card uses the new set Grammie and Granps.  I just want to pinch their cheeks!  I'm always on the lookout for a sweet Grandparents stamp set and this set certaintly fit.  Especially the sweet sentiments that go with it.
Grammie keeps the grey away with a magic box of grey eraser! Ha!

A goodbye, hello and challenge

Sadly, the month of April marks Cheryl's last month as a TGF Farmer. Cheryl has been with TgF pretty much from the beginning and it's hard to see her go!

We do have an exciting announcement today for you too, though! I'd like to welcome MERCY KERIN back to the TGF DT as a FARMER! Mercy was, as you probably know, part of the last round of Gardeners before we stopped having them, returned to us as a member of the Critter Crew and has been asked to come grow with us now as a TGF Farmer!

Today is also the start of preview day for The Greeting Farm.  I actually sat down and made a scrapbook page using the newest set called Grannie and Gramps and they are ADORABLE!! They made me smile everythime I set out to make something else with them.  I also added a few elements from the Spotlight stamp set.

Want to WIN Grandparents? Leave a comment HERE on the Greeting Farm Post
by 11:59pm CST tonight, and one lucky winner will be announced tomorrow! Thanks everyone!

Since yesterday was Earth Day the FFF challenge is going green. Use green as the inspiration to make a card.
Today's card features stamps from The Greeting Farm's new Spotlight scrapbook stamp set.

How to make the butterfly (Shadow Stamping)
1.Ink the image.
2.Stamp butterfly on scrap paper.

Vote, vote who wants to vote???

Happy Sunday!  So I told you last week that I'm on a team for The Greeting Farm Royal Battle.  Well this weeks challenge was to make a scrapbook page.  So my team decided to challenge me to this...well after 7-8 years of not paper scrapbooking I put my best cutter forward and got to work.  I'm very pleased to say that I have made my first page after all those years and was really proud to be representing my team.

However I didn't read the rules correctly and it turns out I'm disqualified as I'm a Farmer for The Greeting Farm.  I totally understand why this is a rule. Anyway this means that Joni the team leader had to scramble and put together a layout at the last minute.  I think she did a fantastic job on her page.  Her team is called The Sunny Patch and are now down to the last 4 teams.  If we they make this round there is another before the grand prize.

So take a look at Joni's beautiful hard work, and if you think The Sunny Patch should move on to the next challenge round then please leave your vote!!

Farm Fresh Scraps

Sweeeeeeeeeet!  It's Friday already!!  Well it was a short week as my whole family spent the first part of the week sick.  Oh well spring is in the air.  Just in time for a Spring Cleaning Challenge!!
Since it's friday it means that The Greeting Farm has another Farm Fresh Challenge.  This time the challenge is to dig through your scrap stuff and use something you "found" or forgotten you had.  So I started to dig and found a scrap piece of DP I had since last year.  Oh yeah I can't throw anything out.  Not even the scraps.  I used the new Wild Sprout stamp Eric from The Greeting Farm, I thought he would be perfect for the cowboy paper. Although you don't really see a lot of the paper.
Stop by The Greeting Farm to see what other items the DT dug up!

The Sunny Patch

Hi everyone!  Did you hear about The Greeting Farm's Royal Battle {Week 2}! ?  Well I'm on a team and my friend Thanh's challenge this week was to create an easel card.  I think she did a phenominal job with her card.
I'm posting her card to share it with you so you can see for yourself how fabulous her card looks.  Just look at all those details...the mad hatter hat, the pocket watch, white rabbit and mushrooms.

Our team is called "The Sunny Patch" and would love a vote if you all think her work is just as amazing as I do!

You can find our link HERE in The Greeting Farm's Galleria. By leaving a comment there, we have the opportunity to move on to Round 3 which we would really love to do

Oo0 la la is PMS peek time!

Oh what peekie poo I have for you!!!   CORSETS...Eeeeek!!  I just picked up the new Cosmo Cricket DP and thought wow this is perfect for the new Corset set from Paper Makeup.  I love the openess of the corset because it leaves so much room to play.  Like adding polka dots with my white get pen.  I sponged around the edeges with Antique Linen to help with the vintage look.  Now isn't this Corset the coolest thing ever??  And the sentiment...what a hoot I LOVE it!!  I can't wait to give this card to someone.

TGF Release Day and Card Drive

It's TGF RELEASE DAY and there's NO April Fool's joke here when we say that ALL NEW RELEASES are now available in the TGF Store! We hope you've enjoyed our previews this week and are SO excited to welcome Get Well by Marina Neira, Stamping Anya, Eric, Dee Dee, and Oliver/Amelia "Buddies" to the TGF Family of rubber! Today is a GREAT day and we're so happy you're along for the ride!
Meet Oliver isn't he a cutie??

Today we are also excited and honored to announce the 1st "TGF Cares" Charity Card Drive. This is something that TGF has been wanting to do for a long time and we have finally been able to put together a card drive for a cause very close to our hearts. A few years ago, Jessica was introduced to a family who was only a few weeks away from losing their two-year old daughter, whose name was also Jessica. Through this terrible tragedy, the family couldn't say enough about how wonderful the Ronald McDonald House was to them, specifically the one near the Fairview Children's Hospital near Minneapolis, MN. (please see Jessica's blog for more on this touching story and how TGF customers can help put a smile on the faces of many in need of them!)

There are so many sick children whose families do nothing short of moving mountains for these kids to help them get well. Not only is it important to lift the spirits of these courageous children, but also the families-the parents, siblings, and relatives during all of the emotional ups and downs of a child's fight for life.

TGF is proud and honored to be collecting cards that will go to the RMH in Minneapolis as well as the Fairview Children's Hospital, parents, and siblings of these petite patients during the long and brave journey of theirs. Be sure to stop by the TGF BLOG today for complete details on this special contest close to our hearts.

*This contest will run all month long. Today, 4/1/10 through 4/30/10. ALL ENTRIES must be POSTMARKED by 4/30/10 to qualify for any prizes/recognition.

*There will be 4 prizes total. ONE GRAND PRIZE and three First prizes. Here's how it will work:
For every 5 cards sent in, you will receive ONE entry for the prize drawings. So for this contest, much like the PP Olympics, the more you create the more chances you have to win, but in the end, all entries will go into a hat and Random winners will be drawn to give more people a chance to win :) We will keep track of how many entries you're alloted based on the cards you upload in the Galleria, which brings us to our next point:

You will have all month long to upload your cards to the TGF GALLERIA>CONTESTS/CHALLENGES>TGF CARES. You must, with the EXCEPTION OF SENTIMENTS, use ONLY TGF Stamps on any and all qualifying cards.

************************************************************************************* Here's the details:
*THE IMPORTANT "FINE PRINT":

Please SEND IN ALL CARDS AT ONCE. When you are ready to mail your cards, please email Jessica for the address/contact info.

Please read the QUALIFYING stamp criteria carefully above, thank you!

The inside of your card should say something generic, as we don't know if your card will be going to the child or family member/sibling.

Here's an example of what I will be writing in the inside of my cards:

"Thinking of you and sending lots of well wishes on your journey..."
~Jessica from Nashville, TN
on behalf of TGF Cares Card Drive

Of course ,you can tweak that as you wish, just as long as you get the general idea!

And now...for what's up for grabs:

GRAND PRIZE WINNER will take home the ENTIRE APRIL RELEASE plus (1) 4x6 in stock set of choice PLUS a surprise gift (it's a big one, trust us!)

3 FIRST PRIZE winners will choose 2 IN-STOCK 4x6 sets of their choice EACH!

We hope that our first ever TGF CARES card drive is a huge success and can't thank you enough for wanting to be a part of it.
************************************************************************
It's also an EXCITING release day as The Greeting Farm is being featured in SCRAPSTREET MAGAZINE! Check us out HERE and make sure you leave ScrapStreet some love as we are SO grateful to them for featuring us!!!
